The TAB N SHIFT Story
Inspired by the elegance and sustainability of the Pel Poly fabric, TAB N SHIFT founder, Ellen Won, sought to solve a problem – designing the perfect everyday bag. Ellen enlisted the help of her sister and designer, Monica Kang, in Austin T.X., and they got to creating.
With over 15-years of fabric development and R&D experience, Ellen and Monica started designing bags that captured the city of Austin’s spirit of sustainability, creativity, and its unique urban and natural coexistence.
Versatile, lightweight, and functional, the TAB N SHIFT bags project a distinctive elegance through its use of the recycled Pel Poly fabric. As in the fairy tale of the Ugly Duckling, this overlooked raw recycled material was destined to become something beautiful, so every purchase comes in a white Ugly Duckling logo, recycled Tyvek® protective bag.
